In addition to Copper Complex artifacts from Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota, we also have artifacts from two sites in Kentucky, three sites in Illinois, two sites in Indiana, one site in Iowa, one site in South Dakota, one site in North Dakota, one site in Pennsylvania, two sites in New York, one site in Maine, two sites in Manitoba and numerous sites in Ontario. To-date, the greatest number of artifacts we have collected have come from North Central Wisconsin. The second greatest number have come from the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan, the original source of the copper used for making the artifacts, and other areas of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, followed by the number of artifacts from Minnesota.
